Assistant Manager - Full Time
Position Description
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven leader to join our team as an assistant manager. This person will assist in the day-to-day operations of the academy reporting to the Academy Director. We provide on the job training and certifications in Tiger-Rock Martial Arts Instruction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years martial arts experience in chosen style (Karate, Jiujitsu, Taekwondo, Judo, Kali, etc.)
- Physically agile and strong
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of transparency and integrity
- Exceptional work ethic
- Clear criminal record
- Prior experience teaching martial arts or other fitness classes preferred
- Coachable and able to communicate ideas with company leadership
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our member families
- Student onboarding and account management
- Class Instruction (individually and with a leadership team)
- Performing One-on-One instruction (Private Lessons)
- Working with and managing Instructor Team
- Assisting with events (Tournaments, Testing, Community Outreach, Charity, etc.)
- Equipment inventory ordering management
- Ensuring physical safety of all student athletes and families
- Developing and maintaining high business standards for the organization
